Default Command line internet connection

Hi!

I need to start an internet connection using the WinXP prompt.
When I set my pc as a server, I want it to connect to the internet on
its own
( when I'm far away from home, I need all the procedures to be
automatized...)
The software I have doesn't provide this.
I thought a batch file would solve the problem, but I don't know the
commands
(And I don't even know whether they exist!!!In UNIX systems such a
solution
would be very straightforward, but in Windows I don't knwo...)

What can I do?

Well - since we have no idea what is involved with connecting your system to
your internet service provider (since we do not know what you use to connect
to the internet nor what your ISP provides/requires)...

We don't know either.

But if it can be done manually - it can be scripted 99.99% of the time. And
if it cannot be scripted - it can be macro'd.

Have you looked into Remote Desktop Connection if connecting from a Windows
system into your's or Telnet (as in UNIX)?

For Telnet, you have to turn the Telnet server on in SERVICES.MSC
I believe this will put you at a DOS command when connecting in.
