update problems again
Win-10-Pro 1803
Last updated 12/29/18, using the mini-update tool. Worked fine. Tried to update today: Mini-update tool says windowsupdate service is not running, and asks to start it. Services.msc says it IS running. Mini-update tool, when I answer Yes to start it, says access denied. Tool is being run as administrator. Services still says it IS running. Windows update page in Control Panel is blank (was fine a few days ago). Windows update troubleshooter says it fixed registry entries, but didn't cure any of the above. My log of things I did or changed shows nothing related to this at all. A reboot did not help either. Any ideas? -- Someone who thinks logically provides a nice contrast to the real world.
