Invalid path
I use both Linux and XP.
When I used XP to open a .png file created in Linux, it failed saying that that there was an "invalid path." In the past I have had no problems opening those files in MsPaint. Looking for your wisdom. :-) Andy

H:\root\Icons\Menu_Manager.png I use Ext2 Volume Manager to show Linux partitions in Explorer. Andy
