Default Expert Opinion?

Gman rambled on in microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support:

Just did a clean install on my thinkpad A20m after flashing the bios.
The computer freezes up on the windows page or if in safe mode it will
get as far as drivers\agp440.sys before it freezes. I tried to boot in
VGA without any results since I thought it might be a video problem.
Previously the laptop had viruses so I did a format.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Gman

Enable or disable agp in the bios.
