Default Dynamic disk unavailable in XP

Hi!

I have for some time run two identical Maxtor 160Gb disks as a dynamic
disk within XP.

After a failed attempt to defragment the drive the dynamic disk fails
to appear properly on reboot. The disk shows up as an empty local disk
in Explorer, amd Disk Manager states it as being only a 160GB disk
that is offline. Reactivation is not possible and the command line
tools only displays the drive as erroneous without any option to fix
the errors.

At the same time both disks are showing up in BIOS just fine.

Any ideas appreciated!

Best Regards,
Geir Waaler
