Serial 2

Has anyone heard when to expect the Serial 2 ATA/300 drives to be out? I am
about to order a couple SATA drives this week but if I had an idea when the
SATA 2's will be out, I might hold off awhile.

So what mobo or controller do you currently have that is SATA-2
compliant? And how will it circumvent the 133 MB/s bandwidth limit of
the PCI bus (which is shared by MANY devices, not just the hard drives)?

Never thought about the mobo. Good point. I have a MSI K7N2 Delta ILSR. I
saw something a couple times about the Serial 2's coming and never anything
about when it may be. That is why I was asking. So, I guess I might just as
well not worry about them now cause I guess I would be needing a new mobo
too in order to support them.
