Right click not working on start menu
Hi everyone,
I am trying to alphabetize my programs on my start menu in WinXP Pro SP-1, and the "help" menu tells me to just right click any program on the menu and select something like "put in name order" or some such thing. Problem is, when I right click on anything on my start menu, I don't get a menu. I used to administer a network at my old office, and I always used to right click "My Computer" and hit "properties" to do things like assign the correct domain or change the computer's name, but on the computer I have now, I don't even get a menu by right clicking "My Computer". Anybody have any idea how to correct this? FWIW, I do have administrator privileges, and have tried rebooting... Many thanks. - Frank |

Disabling this option removes the ability to organize the start menu by dragging and dropping. It also disables right click menus in a few areas. -- Sharon F MS-MVP Windows Shell/User |
