Default MSN Messenger 7.0 woes :S

I really have a problem with MSN Messenger. My emoticons (the ones I
download, and/or receive from friends) do not persist between a new install.

I was just upgrading and installing the new version of MSN Messenger 7.0. I
load up. Where's all my cool collection of emoticons? They are all gone!

The files are still there, stored in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Kevin\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN
Messenger\808043634\CustomEmoticons
and the rest of custom downloaded winks, etc.

But a new installation of MSN Messenger won't read them again :S

I heard that it's all to do with digital signitures, or encryption. This is
really a problem for ALL users of MSN Messenger.

What is the current issue on a fix for future versions?
