How this forum synchronises messages

This site is a mirror of 'usenet' newsgroups on Windows XP, brought together in one place to discuss all aspects of XP life.

To found out more about newsgroups and usenet, a good place to start is http://www.faqs.org/usenet/index.html

Normally you would not see these newsgroups replicated on the web as the protocols for each are very different (google groups being the exception), however, with the help of many people this has been replicated into a high quality bulletin board.

This is not meant to replace your favourite newsreader (e.g. Outlook Express), just offer alternatives ways of reading your favourite groups.
