Default How to delete search words

How do I delte the words that have been saved from previous searches? These
would be words used in msn search, google, etc. For example, if I had
previously looked for "apple" typing an a in search yields apple. thanks for
your assistance.

AutoComplete.
you can clear any that you do not like by selecting the entry areadown
arrowdown arrowdelete key. repeat as required.
Tip: if you leave your mouse over the selection that is highlighted by down
arrow, and you can delete continually.
You can clear all, and if you wish stop it working by:
IEtoolsinternet optionscontentAutoCompleteclear formsand remove check
marks as required.

To clear all the previous words:
In IE: tools, internet options, content tab, autocomplete, clear forms.

To clear just one or specific ones:
In the drop down box, simply hold your cursor over the one you want to get
rid of and hit the delete button. Don't click the word, just hold cursor
over it to highlight it and hit the delete button on the key board.
