Default file sharing without using policy

1. I have a Windows XP machine with Service Pack 2 installed.
2. It will be a part of the machine in my client's local subnet.
3. However, my XP machine is not part of the domain of our client system.
4. I want to disable the file sharing and print sharing on my XP machine
5. I prefer automatic, such as using Windows Registry because I have 300 XP machine moving from dial up to our client local LAN.
Any help? Thanks in advanced.
