2006 Commonwealth Games Daylight Saving
I have read a number of articles regarding the issue with the extension of
Daylight Saving in Australia (effecting NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS and SA). I have obtained both Microsoft patch 909915 and 912475. I installed the patch/es and verified that it makes the changes to the time zone (via running the tz.exe command and checking the Date/Time Properties). To test that the patch works, I changed the PC Date/Time to 2359hrs on 1st April. When I reboot the PC, I expect a pop-up to adjust the clock but don't get it. Any suggestions as to why this occurs and how to fix it? |

2006 Commonwealth Games Daylight Saving
Performed further testing.
Date/Time changed to 2:58:00 on 02Apr06. PC was shutdown. Upon reboot, there was no dialog/pop-up box to change time zone, but the time was changed to 2:mm:ss on 02Apr06. This is the important part. |
