Default You are connected to the access point, but the internet cannot be found.

My niece can not connect to the Internet. I had her brother bring the
computer to my house. I was able to get it to connect to my network.
For some reason it was trying to get a static lip. I changed those
settings and, like I say, it worked on mine. When he got it home I
walked her through the connection setup. She was able to find her
network on the list and connect to it. But she is getting a message
that Firefox is offline. Changing the setting to online does not work
either.

I googled this:
http://homecommunity.cisco.com/t5/Wi...ound/td-p/6468

She checked both boxes but still can't connect.
Any suggestions?
