Newer Version Message
Hi,
I keep getting a message telling me that there is a "newer version" of Windows Messenger everytime I open Outlook Express. I've allowed the "newer version" to install itself a few times, but the message persists. Is there any way of getting rid of this annoyance? Thank for any help, Steve Harclerode |

Greetings Steve,
To quickly remove this you can simply tell Outlook Express to stop starting Windows Messenger. To do so, close Outlook Express, then download and run this .reg file: http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...ssenger_oe.reg ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Camel Software" wrote in message ...
