Default Map partitions on WinXP

Don't know how you got as high as G: and L:. Repair looks at the
partitions - 4a (E is the 3rd partition recognisable by XP. Try upgrading
(installing over the top retains programs and data) but may be install
programs - this will update the registry.

Hi,

My HD has the following partitions:

(1a partition) LINUX
(2a partition )SWAP LINUX
(3a partition) C: FAT32
(4a partition) L: NTFS (windowsXP)

as you can understand windows xp it is installed on the drive L:

but from yesterday windows xp has decided to assign (alone) the letters G:
to the 4a partition

in this way XP doesn't work, performs it like

\Device\Harddisk0\Partition4\Windows

but when it loading the drivers it looks for

G:\windows\system32\file.extension

causing the block pc.

You can help me to map the 4a partition on the letter L: ???

ps. using the restore console of installation cd the 4a partition, it

assing
E: ??? to 4a partition ?!?

help me!!!

thanks a lotl!!!
