Default IR Hardware Not Detected - Solution for Win7

I've experience an issue with getting my eHome Transceiver functioning when
installing a fresh Win7 Ultimate build. The device is appearing fine in
Device Manager. When setting up in Media Center you get the IR Hardware Not
Detected message.

The solution to this is to insert another IR transceiver cable in the back
of the IR device on the desktop. when you have two inserted, it gets past
this and you can move forward. After installation, you can remove the other
device.

I read that if you don't have another transceiver, you could just plug in a
headphone jack, but didn't try this. If you are having this problem and
don't have another IR blaster, you could try this.
