Is there a newsgroup or forum for Windows 7?
I just installed Win7 on my WinXP machine. I backed up my list of Internet
Favorites and now I want to place this list into the favorites folder in the
Win7 installation.
Any help would be appreciated. Otto

One of the easier ways to get to your favorites folder's actual location has
not changed.

Start button -- RUN (Windows key+R) -- type in:
%userprofile%\Favorites
-- Click OK.

There is the actual folder - copy what you want. You can also now see the
path, most likely C:\Users\username\Favorites.

If you exported it from within IE - import in the new IE.

There are forums. No newsgroups to speak of.

Unless and until MS makes Win7-specific newsgroups available, you'll have
