Default how do i restore my comp to factory settings

please help my comp os all messed up an acting funny so i
want to restore it to factory settings but i dont know
how so any help you can give me will be much apreciated

Default how do i restore my comp to factory settings

You can only restore your computer to the way it was when you first turned
it on if the vendor provided you with a set of recovery CDs. Otherwise, you
will have to format your hard disk and re-install, re-configure and update
all your software.
