Default networking problems

Have two systems connected to cable modem via a dlink
router. 1 xp pro and 1 xp home edition system. Both can
access the internet but the xp home system can't see the
other on the local network. When clicking the "home"
network icon the system says you can't access this. Any
ideas?

maybe you can try disabling your firewall.

Having the same problem. How do you disable the
