Windows XP Service pack 3 performing Cleanup
How long does this process take? The install seems to have finished and all

John If you do a search on SP3 Performing Cleanup, a few people have had hangs, where it just doesn't seem to finish. In one other thread I found, someone waited an hour, and it eventually finished. Took well over an hour & a half for the install of SP3 to complete here.

Right clicking on My Computer it says service pack 3 is installed.

Not possible in my house. However I force quit the install app, rebooted,
and went to administrator mode. XP opened some DOS Windows and after I clicked on my computer and it claims service pack 3 is installed. So I guess it is.
