Windows Media Player Error
-----Original Message----- When I try to play an .mpg movie on a web site, the Windows Media Player gives me the "Windows Media Player encountered an error and must shut down" error. I tried the fix that Microsoft recommends the .dll file, but that did not fix my problem. The error sig includes "AppName: wmplayer.exe", "AppVer: 9.0.0.2980", "ModName: mcspmpeg.ax", "ModVer: 1.0.0.29", and "Offset: 000066b2" What is really odd is that about 1 out of every 10 times or so, the video will play. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks. . |
