spaces. So I figured out an easy way to make WORKS 3.0
(DOS) find and fix the spaces.

I prefer the look with the extra space between sentences.

I retrained myself on spaces and switched to single but I like reading
things written with the double space. Bottom line: Do whatever's the most
comfortable. Switched from a natural keyboard to straight today. I like the
lighter touch needed for these keys but sure am having trouble with the
typos. Ugh!

penmanship back then. You see, they had to be careful how they wrote
because if they weren't, the ink would smear!

Just remember that word can be configured to use 1 or 2 spaces in the =
grammar checker (in the style checker section). So it will help to =
ensure that it is consistant across your whole document.

And what a blessing typewriters and word processors have been for us
lefties! I spent my entire school years smearing my pencil or pen or
crayon work as I dragged my left hand over it as I wrote....

BTW, If anyone cares, no amount of screaming from the teacher fixes the
problem.

Breaking the arm fixes it for as long as the arm remains broken. So just =

It's my contention that quill pens are the reason so many had such
nice penmanship back then. You see, they had to be careful how
they wrote because if they weren't, the ink would smear!
