Your Honor, users are *tricked* to sign something dangerous when all

The only users who might be misled are the ones who can't read, and they
should be using iPads, not Windows.

I only knew we could not have continued the installation of Win 10
procedure if we didn't click "YES" or "AGREE" in that button. That's
all! Meow...

There was a case years ago where the purchaser of a new machine did not
choose the "I agree" option, and then fought to have the cost of Windows
deducted from the computer's price, on the grounds that he had never
agreed to have Windows included. I think he won, although Microsoft
fought pretty hard to prevent the setting of a precedent.

That was unusual, though. It was and is a lot more common to pay the
Microsoft tax even when the first action after purchase is to format the
hard disk and get rid of Windows. That's because it's too difficult to
find a supplier who will agree to sell you a computer without Windows
included.

https://system76.com/ is one such supplier. It will sell you a desktop
with Linux properly configured for it provided you want to use IT rather
than Windows. I imagine that they'd be willing to install no OS as well.

Hell, it's easy to find one. Here ya go:

They even knock $60 off of the price if you opt to receive only a

But let's be honest: Windows is what a person who really wants a serious
computing experience will install. Linux is what you use if your
standards for software are low and you only intend to do the basics. For
all of its flaws, Windows is by far the best platform you can install on
a computer.

I don't have a dog in this fight. The only reason I replied was to show

We are buying the operating system function of Micro$oft Window$. We are
NOT buying the remaining crap.

And the only way to properly install WIndow$ the *operating system* is
to click a few buttons that *disguised* themselves as digital evidences
and legal documents.
