keep getting messenger pop ups

advertisers that I do not want it creates a problem when

Other companies are taking advantage of you using

link to a web site to stop this,which I do not go to.Is
there any way of stoping this?Even if I need to
uninstall
Messenger I don't mind.Thanks.

i get this same thing too all of a sudden,the only way i
have found to stop it is with the use of a router. but
thats only if the pc in not in DMZ mode. if there
anything official from microsoft about how to stop this
crap?
