Thanks for the clarification as that explains also how the youtube
downloader does it.

This gets the video sans slipstream:
youtube-dl.exe -f 18 http://the-url-goes-here

This adds the slipstream advertisement:
youtube-dl.exe -f 18 --include-ads http://the-url-goes-here

Although I can't imagine anyone wanting to use that switch.
