Default Can't Print From Guest User Account

-----Original Message-----
I am trying to print to an Epson Stylus Photo 820. The
Event Viewer shows Event ID 61.

Hi Lori,
I'm using an HP2210
What I have found out is in my case, and likely yours the
print spooler doesn't start the printing engine that
constructs the page image in the language that is native
to your printer. HP thinks this relates to a WIN32
permissions error of some nature and are looking into it.
Their opinion is Microsoft has a coding issue relating to
granted permissions for the spool. We'll see but its
likely the same thing you are having.
The reason it works for Admin users is they can read or
write anything they wish and the OS lets their requests
through. Its confusing because a setting of "Power User"
would likely fix this but XP Home has no such credential.

I'm wondering if it relates to the installation cadence.
Meaning if you set up the printer then added the limited
users would all the inheritance stuff pan out then. As I
mention in my post (7/11) I have an HP2110 - virtually
identical to the 2210 - that prints from all
users/priviledges.

Dennis
