Default wmv to dvd software

Have a simple video file I received in my email that is in .wmv format. Just
a bunch of cats doing funny stuff. Need a recommendation of freeware that
will convert this to dvd so that I can burn it for my father-in-law to watch
on his TV. Not something I plan on doing much of so I don't really want to
invest in pro software. I have Ashampoo burning software, Nero, and a couple
others. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve T.

Try winavi video converter works decent their newest version is still beta so
(free) Make sure your nero is up to date if your fathers dvd player is a sony
they are a little tougher with those two apps you should be in pretty good
shape as far as freeware and instuctions the net is full of them I would
start here if you wanted to do your home work http://www.videohelp.com/ hope
