Why can't i open any files on the internet?
I'm not able to open for example the attachments of my e-mails. There is a
microsoft internet explorer-window saying "ie can't download the file. The page is either not found or unavailable. Try again later." Any suggestions? |

Also, if you are using an email client, are you sure that you're online? Can you open attachments from other people? Or are all attachments not 'working'? Do you have a firewall? http://technology-sleuth.com/short_a...dangerous.html |

Why can't i open any files on the internet?
The problem is not with my e-mail program (i'm using an university webmail),
because all other files i try to download or open don't work either. If i for example try to download an up to date version of winamp-player, there is the same ie-window saying "ie can't download the file. The page is either not found or unavailable. Try again later." I'm using the F-Secure Anti-Virus, Internet security and Anti-Spyware -program (with firewall) and have the default settings in my windows virus protection center. Anyway, I had been using these programs/settings for a while when the problems with opening files on the internet started. |

Probably not, cause the downloads of other things don't work either. Not even
mp3s or other files available on the internet pages.
