windows piture viewer

Hi

I loaded photoshop elements on my pc (xp/sp2). It's now the default to view
JPEG's I get in my e-mail. Is there a way to make the Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer the default program for opening jpegs. PSE3 takes a long time to open
and i don't need all it's features just to view a jpeg from an e-mail

Hi Pecaso,

To use Picture Viewer as you photo viewer right click on a file type
such as jpg and select Open With - Choose Program - Windows Picture
and fax viewer, then put a check mark in the box next to "Always use
the selected program to open this kind of file". The next time you
click on a jpg file it will open in Picture Viewer.
