Default device not ready

whenever i boot up my computer searches the floppy drive. When i go into the
event viewer i see several of this error(at bottom). Myt cd -rom is the d
drive , but i don`t seem to have any playback problems. Login takes a long
time and i was wondering what this problem is and what i could do about it.
