Default Stop Shutdown

Scenerio: I accidently told my computer to reboot. I want to cancel the
reboot.

Is this possible?

Matthew

Default Stop Shutdown

I think (but am not sure) that if you're fast enough, you can go to Start -
Run and type in "shutdown /a" (no quotes).

Default Stop Shutdown

Even if you were fast enough to open the command prompt, type in the
command, and hit enter before the system halted, you end up having to reboot
anyway. As soon as you tell Windows to shutdown or restart, it begins to
disable / halt running services. Once that happens, you've got to restart
to get them back up or go through the services snap-in and restart them all
manually.
