Default %Keystroke r pulls up mycomputer

Weird question here. I have windows xp service pack 2. When I use the
keystroke r mycomputer pops up, i brings up Itunes, the numbers 3 and 4 are
shifted, and both shift buttons when pressed give me the sign. I really am
at my wits end here. I've ran norton, ran spybot and spyware doctor, and I
have restored this back to before the problem started. Anybody please help.

What happens when you try a different keyboard?

if you are using that keyboard for
typing your posting,

then it looks like your keyboard is
ok.

------------

have you tried that key combination
with an "e" instead of an "r"?

------------

one way to test the keyboard is
via the on screen keyboard included
in windows.

try a Win Key + R or click on StartRun
to open the "run" window

then type in OSK and hit enter.

you should get the on screen keyboard
and you can test your keys with the
mouse.
