Default Why All The SP2 Problems?

Hi. Mine went great! I decided to do a clean install of
SP1 and then I installed the SP2 update and Office
2003. Everything went fine, no problems after that.
Why all the SP2 problems? SP2 even installed my video
card driver, Intel chipset utility and USB 2.0. It
didn't install my ethernet card, soundcard or printer
driver but I had those backed up on CD. Office 2003 even
works great under SP2.

Hi,

Most likely cause you did a clean install. For a lot of
users, problem might be cause they have some
spyware/parasites on their systems that weren`t clean out
before installing SP2. Also some people didn`t update
their drivers or defrag their system before installing.
And last, I know few forgot to close un-necessary
programs, virtual drives, and anti-virus. For me, I
installed it on two working systems with no problems,
since I made sure my systems were bug free and ready.

Jeff
