change default media player
I have a dell desktop computer with windows xp. I have two
media players installed in the computer. (windows media player) and (realone player). When I am connected to the internet and I acess a movie clip at a website the computer automaticaly starts (windows media player) and plays the clip. I would like to use (realone player) instead of (windows media). How can this automatic default be changed? I like the realone player better and want this to be selected when I acess sound or video while online. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you |

change default media player
Dan; there are at least 2 ways.
Start/All Programs. Click "Set Program Access and Defaults" you can choose the default there. Go to Real Player, there should be an option there to select as the default media player. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] An easier way to read newsgroup messages: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p...oups/setup.asp Please respond to newsgroup only for everyone's benefit.
