WIN XP installed now no drivers - I have Dell Drivers disc
After I reinstalled WIN XP and SP2 on my Dell Dimension
2400, I can no longer access the internet. Device manager shows no drivers installed for my ethernet controller, Multimedia Audio Controller, USB Scanner, and Video Controller (VGA Compatible). I have the Dell Drivers disc that came with the PC, but don't know what drivers I need and it doesn't find them automatically. Can anyone help, especially with the Ethernet controller? Thanks, Phil |

WIN XP installed now no drivers - I have Dell Drivers disc
Hi:
You may want go to Dell's Support Site and find the latest driver for your system including "system software" if there are any. In particular, system software from Dell (I am not sure if your model have or not, so check it out) usually fix problems with USB drivers and so on. I am also using Dell's system and I found many drivers are needed to be updated in order to work well with SP2 and for other things. Good luck. "Phil" wrote in message ...
