Connects Windows XP home edition computer and Win98
computer using ethernet adapters and cables connected to

a
hub. Computers are both in same Workgroup. TCP/IP
address is on common branch. (192.168.30.x) I can ping
each from the other. I can map a network folder by
assigning the drive using tcp-ip address i.e.
\\192.168.30.2\shared forlder\ etc. However, I can't
browse network neighboorhood on the WIN98 system, or My
Computer Places on the XP. Only show the host system as
part of the network (e.g. WIN 98 system name and its
shares in Network Neighboorhood etc.). I am used to

WinNT
networks that show all known computers when browsing.

HOw
do I get the network to detect the other computers and
show them as part of the network? I can't even share a
printer, even though sharing is enabled. Can't find it

by
browsing.
