Back Button(arrow) trouble

I have ran Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware, Avast, SuperAnti-Spyware, Windows Defender, have all Microsoft Up-dates; everything is clean. System: - Acer 2450 laptop - Windows XP, Home-SP3 - Explorer 7 *I Googled this problem, but found no definite solutions. Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Thanks! Hello, Check the recent pages dropdown list (mext to foward-back buttons), sometimes a ad will have links listed. Even with a pop-up stopper the ad link will show in the list. Clicking on the link below the ad link will open the page. This may be the cause of the first problem listed. For other problems. If phishing filter is set to auto change to off, located in tools/ internet options/ advance. If IE7 can be removed then reinstalled, this may help. If doing this remember to export your favorites. take care. beamish. Hello, You are welcome. take care. beamish. |
