Default Back Button(arrow) trouble

I knew Slick1..you said you always lag in a few second when you press
back button from IE 7. Did you installed like google toolbar, yahoo
toolbar, and many toolbar in your IE? because it will affect. I
installed 2 toolbar at IE7 and the result like yours. You can try at
FF..if you try and the result is good. Its the mean your IE is
problem...

Thank-you Beamish.
Phishing filter was set to auto, changed to off as you suggested.
Back button working as it should now.
Thanks again!

When I click-on the back button(arrow) in IE7 browser, it sometimes
takes
two or more clicks to go back one page. Sometimes one click will take
it
back three or four pages, etc. Sometimes after one or several clicks
and
waiting and waiting, all pages are gone and I'm back on my Homepage.
I have ran Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware, Avast, SuperAnti-Spyware, Windows
Defender, have all Microsoft Up-dates; everything is clean.
System: - Acer 2450 laptop
- Windows XP, Home-SP3
- Explorer 7

*I Googled this problem, but found no definite solutions. Hoping
someone
here can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Hello,
Check the recent pages dropdown list (mext to foward-back buttons),
sometimes a ad will have links listed.
Even with a pop-up stopper the ad link will show in the list.
Clicking on the link below the ad link will open the page.
This may be the cause of the first problem listed.
For other problems.
If phishing filter is set to auto change to off, located in tools/
internet
options/ advance.
If IE7 can be removed then reinstalled, this may help.
If doing this remember to export your favorites.
take care.
beamish.
