Default An Access database repair tool?

Hi, I'm a new user here, so this is my problem at the momento:

In my work we are using Windows XP, but we are moving to Windows 7 and we have a big problem. When we were moving we lost a database in Access 97 and we have not been able to recover it so far.
Is there any software that can recover a database in Access 97? Any help would be welcome.

Google Groups is bad enough. However using pcbanter.net which makes
believes it has "forums" is bloody ridiculous. pcbanter.net just has a HTTP
to NNTP Gateway and uses Usenet News Groups for it so-called forums.

This is a Windows XP news group. NOT a MS Office news group, let alone an MS
Access

Windows XP is EoL

MS Access 97 went EoL a very long time ago.

Get a clue and access Usenet directly !

MS Access 97 went EoL a very long time ago, but there are still many small offices or businesses that use Microsoft Access 97. Anyway thanks for your "help"...

I can't help with your particular problem, but what I can say is that when
Windows 7 first arrived I installed it on a spare test computer and
attempted to load Office 97 Pro onto it and spent about a week trying to
resolve the various problems with some data migrations from XP -
unsuccessfully in the main so I never used WIndows 7 on my main computer.

Hi, thanks for your comment.
The biggest mistake was not having a backup. However I'll try some recovery programs.
