Default W32 time checker service -disable?

I turned this service to manual yesterday because it doesn't find a
source to use.
While it is trying to do that the contents of any software commands on
the screen will start jumping or rolling. There was an image open in a
graphics software and it went into unzoom mode and zoom in a very quick
manner. Even Task manager has a hissy fit.
This has happened before at intervals (a fairly long time interval)
I upped the video ram (1G) Power supply has been upgraded. New monitor.
System is healthy. The only thing left on the list to change was the
mouse.
This time when I could finally get into the Manager I could see that it
was W32 time was in action unsuccessfully at the very time frame that
all this rolling on of text lines and freezing of panes.
If it is just this service that causes this intermittently then I have
acquired some good add ons grin

Nothing depends on this service so I'm asking if I could disable it
altogether?

Thanks, Good Reference site. There was a reference site 'Black Viper'
but it was discontinued. For a quick check this eldergeek site will
replace the Viper site.

Black Viper is completely unsuitable for anyone except, possibly, a
power user. That the site is down is very good news.

unused or useless services grin

I know, I appreciated it grin verbally there would be intonation on
the 'I'll say' which would relay..."agreed"...we'll have to come up
with smileys that do symbols for 'intonation'LOL...or better still,
stay away from typed colloquialisms lol
So my agreement followup was a little sardonic....labelling myself as a
power user ....oh my...grin
