Clear History (Internet Explorer) is intermittent

you might try this - ie
make sure you 'clear the history in autocomplete first'
then 'clear history in the general tab' - ie
go start/control panel/network and internet connections/
internet options/
content tab/personal information - section/
click on - 'autocomplete'/
go 'clear autocomplete history'/
click on - 'clear forms'/
then
go general tab/go history - section/
click on - 'clear history'/
and
take it fr there
