Default Clone vs. Image

No one seems to be using Iomega Automatic Backup Pro.

Are there problems with it?

I'm happy for you. But it's not because of verification.

Actually, the verification only checks that all files were included in
the image. It is not a verification that the image will restore
properly, or at all.

Then you're using the wrong product. I use exclusively BootIt-NG, Drive
Image 2002, Ghost 2003, and their predecessors. It is indeed
verification the image will restore properly. With over 1200 restores in
more than a decade, I have had zero failures when an image verified.

Then why do you use more than one program for Imaging?

Depends on what program the client has. I'll make the image in either DI or
Ghost format if that's what program they have a license for. If they buy
Ghost 9/10, I'll use Ghost 2003 because that comes in the same box.
Otherwise, I recommend they purchase Terabyte's BootIt-NG or Image for DOS,
since DI and Ghost 2003 are no longer being developed.

Suit yourself. The OP can choose who he wishes to believe.
