CD drives don't display
My CD ROM drive doesn't work, it shows up in the post as
there, and in the bios, and it opens and closes, also it shows up in system/hardware but the one place it doesn't show up is My Computer and it doesn't auto play either. Under the 'add hardware wizard' I click the CD drive that shows up, and this is the text line that it states to me: "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information [in the registry] is incomplete or damaged." The CD ROM drive works in another computer, but no CD drives will work on this computers OS so I know it is an OS issue, but installing it/installing it has no effect nor dose disabling/enabling. |
