Question Nonefunctioning HDTV display took over as default display

Hello all.....On Windows XP I was trying to set up a DVI(digital) signal output to my HDTV on my video cards DVI output. I think I am now I'm stuck with the HDTV as my primary display but the HDTV gets no signal and now my original 19" monitor is left black. When I reboot Windows XP my monitor will show the boot menus but not Windows. I think it's sending Windows to the unfunctioning HDTV. My problem is I need to get into Windows to set my primary display back to my 19" monitor..? How can I get my default display back when Windows won't load on my 19" monitor so I can get into the control panal and reset it..? Thank you all...

At start up,tap the F8 key, select safe mode enter xp as administrator. Also,
for running two monitors, you might download the "Exhibitor PRO" from
microsoft, its specifically for that. You can find that at WM downloads.
