MSN Messenger not displaying song info from WMP
I have had this issue with two previous OS installations as well, and
previous versions of Messenger as well. MSN Messenger is not displaying the curreent song information, in spite of the option being checked -'Show song info from WMP as a personal message.' It worked, but only the first time MSN Messenger was installed and run, and never after that. Can this be resolved, or is it a bug? |

Greetings SC,
To double-check this is actually turned on, open up Windows Media Player, click the Tools menu, then Options, then Plug-ins tab, look under the Background category and verify that the MSN Messenger Music Plugin is checked. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay. Fantastic, Jonathan. It worked. Curiously, the other plugin, Nero fast CD
burning, was also disabled in WMP by default. "Jonathan Kay [MVP]" wrote in message ...
