Default on board video card disable

Hi All,
I do not know if I have the right NG or not, My problem is hardware, not
software. I want to disable my 8 bit soldered to mother board video chip so
I can install a 32 bit video card. How do I do this?
-
Sincerely & thanks,
Dick

Look in your PC manual as to how to get into the BIOS. There is usually an
option here to disable the onboard graphics chip.

Sorry Cari,
My manual does not show any jumpers. But that is ok, for I figured out how
to disable it. Now I have another problem.
I installed the new video card and software, now I have video in Windows XP,
but I have none in DOS. I cannot access the BIOS settings. How do I activate
the video in DOS?
Sincerely,
Dick
