Default command prompt size

I remember, in some Windows versions in the past, I was able to choose the
font size for the command prompt.
Is there any way to achieve this in Windoes 7?

It is still available in windows 10 so should still be in 7. Right click
command and choose properties, all kinds of size and color adjustments.

Look at the shortcut's properties. Right-click on the shortcut, select
Properties. One of them is the Fonts tab.

With a command shell already loaded, click on the control menu or hit
Alt+Spacebar. Select Properties and go to the Font tab.

No option 'properties' or the likes here when right clicking!

Thanks.
Alt+Spacebar, that did it finally.
I wonder why the properties are hidden from the right click menu?

Unlike other windows, the command shell's window still shows the Control
Menu icon at the left of the titlebar. In windows that do not show the
Control Menu, it may still be there. Just right or left click on that
spot at the left end of the titlebar to see if the Control Menu drops
down. Alt+Spacebar is the default hotkey to drop down the Control Menu
but you could just click on its icon in the titlebar.

OK, got it.
I hope to remember all this when I need it again, because it's not what I
call straight forward...
I had been right clicking on the black background of the window. (This shows
a dropdown menu indeed, but without the properties option)

Given that you're probably using the keyboard rather than the mouse
anyway, if you're using a command window, Alt-space is probably easiest.

Possibly especially for the left-handed; I find Alt-space then C a lot
easier than Alt-F4 for a lot of things. (For a command prompt, I usually
just type exit.)
