This works alone:
1. Setting hrome://settings/onStartup
2. Start page hrome://settings/clearBrowserData

I don't know why the "c" is missing but those URLs should start with
"chrome" and not with "hrome" (in case it's missing again below).
chrome://settings/onStartup
chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

Does Opera crash on you when/if you do these two things at the same time?
(latest Opera version 46.0.2597.39)

0. Create three duplicate default Opera shortcuts
1. This works alone to bring up Opera in private-browsing mode:
Change the "Properties" of the "Target" in the first Opera shortcut:
from: C:\Program Files\Opera\launcher.exe
to: C:\Program Files\Opera\launcher.exe -private
2. This works alone to bring up Opera in the "Clear Browsing Data" page:
Change the "Start" page (opera://settings/startup) of Opera to
opera://settings/clearBrowserData
3. Put them together on the 3rd shortcut causes Opera to crash every time.

Does that happen with you?
Is it a bug?

(they're currently up to version 46)

You cross-posted to several newsgroups for different Windows versions
yet your reply said "Did anyone test on x32 Windows XP?" In your opening
post, you say "(latest Opera version 46.0.2597.39)" which means you are
also using a post-XP version of Windows. If you open a bug ticket with
Opera, you need to report for a still-supported OS platform. There
would be no point in reporting the bug if you mention Windows XP since
that OS hasn't been updated since Opera 36.

Visit there to go to their forums to see if anyone else reported the
problem. I tried searching on "incognito settings/clearBrowserData"
(and also "incognito clearBrowserData") but it was obvious their search
was OR'ing the terms instead of AND'ing them. There is no advanced
search dialog where I could select to search on ALL terms. Nothing
obvious showed up in the first page of search results.
