Oh yeah, giving it a new name (Animate CC) is really pulling the plug.
Flash was hazardous because of its script support. Without script,
Flash is just a simple viewer and that would make it safe. Scripting is
not going away. To bad we can't get a Flash plug-in with Adobe's
proprietary scripting language removed. Oops, plug-ins are going
bye-bye in web browsers because that scheme is vulnerable -- and not
just for Flash.

Is that George over there? Nah, can't be. George doesn't have a
mustache but that guy does. Uh huh.

Allright!!! It's about time. It has been stuck in Windows
ever since the beginning. I never understood what the deal
was between Adobe and Microsoft. Finally it's over. Hooray!

2020?

Oh well, three years late is better than never.

About bloody time.

The software company on Tuesday said it plans to stop updating and
distributing its Flash Media Player by the end of 2020.

So we've got another three years of applying weekly patches to look
forward to? Joy unconfin'd.

SHouldn't Adobe be prosecuted for unleashing this bug-ridden piece of
crap onto an unsuspecting public?

1,030 vulns according to the CVE database
