itunes is prison for masochists.

other way around.

*not* using itunes is prison because so many things *can't* be done
that itunes lets you do. itunes is freedom.

Nonsense. I don't want advanced features and am happy with my iPod. I
*tolerate* the bloatware iTunes.

And you work for Apple.

nope.

over 1 billion people don't have a problem wth itunes and *want* to use
it because it lets them do things they can't do any other way.

itunes is one of the most popular apps on windows, according to
microsoft.

iTunes is free

There is an old discussion that breaks out now and then in certain
philosophical circles as to whether it is possible to willingly become
a slave.

Using iTunes doesn't prevent you from using other solutions. Anyone who
claims to be a "slave to iTunes" is a liar.

How much do they pay you to promote Sharepod?

No ****. BTW, there are *plenty* of Mac/Windows/other apps that will let
you transfer **** to and from iOS devices - Sharepod is just one of
many.

Another utter and complete nonsense. It simply does not follow from
anything I have said and you have your ****ing comp brain acting
involuntarily. Stop being an exaggerating dope.

Besides, it is completely irrelevant whether *I* know how to use
iTunes to its full potential (you would be surprised in your naivete
to know I know a lot about it but am not in the least so far
interested in many of the features).

No, they are not necessarily liars. They are perhaps mistaken and
wildly exaggerating. (But I am getting the idea that the American use
of "liar" more includes just being mistaken without deliberation than
the meaning more England folk attribute to it).

Willful ignorance and exaggeration aren't exactly unintentional. A lie
is an intentional falsehood. And semantics aside, it's untrue that
people who use iTunes are supposed "prisoners" in any meaningful way.

You advice hardest method of all.

I download any youtube to mp3 & then drag and drop onto ipod.
Or I tie two ipod to computer & then drag and drop mp3 to each ipod.

So easy.

"Play songs". Is there any other person in the world who prefers to
listen to podcasts? The cheapo Chinese player would be able to play
whatever. Apple (and its spokesmen) misname their software options.

If podcast file on computer then why not drag & drop podcast file to ipod?

Is too easy?

Or is podcast wrong format for ipod?

iTunes is only "hard" to novices who have a "hard" time doing the
simplest things with their computers. For the rest of us, there is no
such issue.

I download any youtube to mp3 & then drag and drop onto ipod.

Only after you install iTunes, SharePod or some other piece of software
that lets you do that.
