Default Messages sent upon opening conversation window

Hi, I have this problem where every time I open up a conversation window a
message is automatically sent advertising a website. It goes along the lines
of "Get the best IM screen names at www.etc." How do I get rid of the
instructions that are telling my computer to do this? Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, David.

Greetings David,

It's a form of malware. Unfortunately without the exact string there isn't much one can do
to help you beyond to run cleaners like the Windows Defender as well as anti-virus software.

If you google the exact string the message shows, you'll probably find others with
instructions on how to remove it.
